Damien sat down at the chess table and looked across at his opponent. It was not every day that you found yourself staring into the eyes of a young child. It did make him smile to find that a child would rather be playing chess than some videogame that locked him inside.
The child was staring down the pieces with intense concentration. It was like he was determined to beat the older man sat in front of him.
All of a sudden both of their phones beeped. Game forgotten; Pokémon hunting began for the pair.
Unsurprisingly, the child still won.
