This was just an experiment. A harmless brief experiment.

Just what would happen if you exposed a toy to the irradiation of an x-ray machine for an extended amount of time? It was one of those questions that nobody asked, but yet people wanted to know. Just like those experiments about what music plants would most respond to. One of those pointless scientific experiments.

That was what was going on in this lab. Nothing sinister.

Well, that would be until the opportunity arose for the doll to be switched out for a living baby. What? This is for science, obviously.
