(this seriously looks like the idiot Jeremy Clarkson, have you any idea how long it took me to get them out of my head to find a story?)
Nothing could beat the freedom of the road or the gust of wind blowing in his hair. Ian absolutely loved his shiny new convertible and was sure that he would never regret buying it. The day of his holiday approached, and if he started gathering the small amount he thought he need.
He said goodbye to his wife and started his journey. He turned the radio up, singing along to his favourite tracks while tapping the steering wheel in time. The day was absolutely perfect as he filtered onto the freeway.
Mood ruined as he spotted the traffic jam ahead.
I wrote this inspired by this week’s fandango flash fiction challenge.
Damn traffic jams ruin everything.
