Song lyrics Sunday: circles/polygons/squares/triangle

For this week’s song lyrics Sunday, they gave us the prompts of circle/polygon/square/triangle.
Triangle might seem like the obvious choice for me as 30 seconds to Mars use a triad for their symbol. Bastille also use a triangle. However, none of the lyrics really represent anything to do with triangles, so I left them alone.
Instead, I went with the circle. I have chosen the song, walking in circles by dead by sunrise. If you did not know, then this was the solo project for Chester Bennington of Linkin Park. To me this is a song about mental health and everybody’s opinion about it. You should not talk about it. Hence the line, ‘careful of what you might say, because they’ll put you away.’ I think it is about how people think you should suffer in silence which may include the victim. Of course, I could be reading this wrong because of what actually happened to Chester Bennington himself, but this is what I genuinely believe it is about. Correct me if you like.

  1. Dark lyrics, “Alone in a world, With millions of souls Walking in circles Trapped in their dreams unhealthy, unclean walking in circles, now do not disturb scream in silence everyone’s sleeping.” Chester Bennington committed suicide on July 20, 2017.
