Monday journal – 23 November 2020

Welcome to the start of yet another week of this very interesting year! If somebody had told you at the end of last year what would wait for you this year, then you would have never believed them! Now, if we are nearly at the end of it… And it can’t end soon enough.

On the plus side, I am feeling a lot better so hope to actually get things done over the next week 🙂

Naturally this means working on my work in progress, which is taking over slowly, but still making progress. It is a shame that I got nowhere with the novel writing month this year, but it sends these things to try us… And they do! Hopefully, I will take part in the camps next year and November it self. I am determined to at least get the first draft done as quickly as possible so I can move on with other projects and plan what to do.

I am thinking about doing hybrid publishing for this piece of work so I don’t have to source everything like artists and the different editors. I am sure learning these skills is going to be part of a process, but for now I am thinking of going in the middle of keeping the rights and allowing others to find the instruments I need. What are everyone’s opinions on hybrid publishing?

That is about it to me for this journal entry. Looking forward to doing this again next week 🙂 until then, stay safe out there!
