Lockdown experience – 4 April 2020

Being the hermit I am, I think I have been in training for this moment for very long time now! Mind you, not that there has not been a learning curve involved. I really don’t mind spending time by myself as theirs is the way to do writing. You know, no interruptions so your imagination can run freely. However, I quickly discovered that quite many people easily get bored and they provide the interruptions I normally avoid.

This is not necessarily a bad thing as I have spoken to family and friends in the last weeks than I have for years. I just have to find new ways to adapt to this crisis that we find ourselves in.

The new normal will take a bit of getting used to, but I am confident that everyone will do it for as long as is necessary.

Stay safe!
