It is been a while since I have done this, but here is my reply to this week’s share your world.

QUESTIONS:

Is ‘hello” enough for you these days?  (credit to Rory –https://aguycalledbloke.blog/2019/12/29/is-hello-enough-for-you-these-days/ )

I don’t need anything more than a hello from somebody. Even just a smile or a nod to acknowledge your presence is enough for me. I am a quiet person and don’t give any more than that generally. I am not the type to go around expecting a full-blown conversation with people.

Do you believe in Murphy?   For those who aren’t familiar with Murphy, here’s a wee explanation:  Murphy’s law is an adage or epigram that is typically stated as: “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”.

Also known as the luck of the Irish! I absolutely believe in this (as Murphy’s Law and not that the Irish are unlucky) because there are just days where everything goes bad. You know, the ones where you wish you hadn’t bothered getting out of bed! There may not be a reason for it, but blaming Murphy is a good thing that feels right.

Does evil come from within?  If so, why?

Of course it does. I think everybody has something deep within and it is whether or not you choose to unleash it from thought to reality. I think that would be the only way to explain the presence of murderers and the like in our midst. I definitely don’t believe that an external force is making them behave that way, it is just something that is always present.

Are intelligent people more or less happy than others?   What defines intelligence?

Is this another way of asking if I think that ignorance is bliss? I think people will only be as happy as they let themselves be. I am not sure what the definition should be, because everybody has a talent in something and should never be ignored. However, I do wish that people would actually take the time to learn some common sense!
