FFftPP: A whole new day

New Year’s Day dawned revealing a light dusting of snow. The freshness of snow better had yet to be walked on gave everything a brightness that Rebecca would have struggled to put into words. Her gaze roamed around the garden that had been completely covered and was busy admiring the beauty of the winter wonderland that had revealed itself overnight.

Her eyes settled on some red berries that hung precariously on a branch. It was like the tree was determined to show it was alive despite the weather. They would make a great metaphor to live life by in this New Year. Whatever happens, stay alive!
