PHOTO PROMPT © Fatima Fakier Deria
When Marcus had first pitched his idea to me I thought he was insane. It wasn’t the idea of having a bus as a taxi around the area that I didn’t approve of. I mean, there are a lot of groups wandering about lost/drunk/or both. This was Las Vegas.
No, it was the bus he came home and proudly showed me his purchase. I was the thought nobody would ever get on that bus. He thought it looked kind of retro and that people would like that idea.
He was right and we make money.
He has some good ideas.
I wrote this 100-word story in response to this week’s photo prompt for Friday fictioneers.
Sometimes most unlikely of schemes come good!

Yes, retro is a big deal these days. Maybe it’s just that no one is coming up with a better idea 🙂
