I wrote this 100-word story for this week’s Friday fictioneers

Michelle frowned. “I swear we needed to turn that way.”
Philip was sick of this. She always insisted that she knew better than anyone or anything in anything that was going on outside of the car. “The satnav told me to take the third exit, so that is exactly where we are going. Until you are behind the wheel, stop telling me what I am supposed to do.”
She crossed her arms and looked out the window. “Fine.” She tried not to smile in triumph when they had to turn around within metres because they had taken the wrong turn.
ouch – I hope she didn’t say “I told you so”. Nice piece.

At least you can turn the SAT Nav voice off, back seat drivers and passengers are the pits when it comes to directions.

This is very true, you can easily turn them off. I would still say I am a back seat driver/passenger and I am well aware that my directions can be terrible. If you are with me, trust the satnav! Thank you for reading and commenting.

I’m sure that’s happened to me once or twice! I’ve also been the dreaded back seat driver who often – no, always knows best! Nice one Angie.
Here’s my tale!

Nobody likes a backseat driver, no matter how often (s)he is right 🙂

They are annoying, but, admittedly, it is something I like to do! Thank you reading comment.
