I have reached the day when there are only 10 days left of the challenge, let’s see how far I get this year! I’m still determined that I will make it this year 🙂
My word count now is 29,875/50,000. I will give it a quick go later to trying to get it over 30,000 which is a much better number… Still lower than it should be but better.

Interested to see how you go with this, Angie. 50,000 words in thirty days seems like a dawdle seen from afar. I have written about 5,500 words of a novel this week so far but that’s after weeks of stagnant thought. Nanowrimo isn’t for me, I’m afraid. 🙂

It is certainly not for everybody but I prefer writing to a deadline. Admittedly, this is a very quick deadline and I would usually work do something a little bit more relaxed!
