This is my entry into this week’s flash fiction for the purposeful practitioner. I hope you enjoy my 100 word story 🙂

Tina was exhausted by the time she had climbed all of the steps to reach the small courtyard. She looked down at the keys nestled in palm and read the number. Scanning around the space she arrived at, she was unable to find the number of the apartment her husband had just purchased.
Reluctantly, her eyes travelled up until they landed on the small blue door at the top of the steps in front of her. “Seriously, Martin?” She yelled to the man struggling with suitcases a few steps below. “Top floor? What exactly did you think when you paid?”
Uh oh. Looks like Martin’s in trouble! Great take on the prompt, Angie. 😄

Martin may well be in trouble in a few ways… Not only has he made the mistake of buying an apartment so high, but he is also fighting with suitcases!
