SPF: The lab

The young boy’s eyes were getting wider with every piece he was shown in the room. It was certainly an amazing journey around this facility because all of the things he had been shown were the secret weapons that you never believed.

“I love going to work with you, daddy.”

“One day, son, you will have to take over everything and learn how to use every single one of these.” The father continued his tour around the laboratory. “This is the secret camera that is hidden in the confines of the ordinarily looking pen. You would be amazed at the kind of things we have filmed with something so innocent looking nobody would question it.” He smiled as his fingers stroked the ornate fountain pen.

“So, that is everything.”

“What is the blowtorch for?”

“This is not an ordinary blowtorch but is the casing for the best laser weapon that we have. Mind you, the intense concentration of the blue beams that would kill a man instantly make a mean crème brûlée!”

“God dammit, M, I wish you would stop showing off. Now, what do you have for me today?”

“Ah, 007, I don’t believe you’ve met my son, Nathaniel.”

  1. Very cute! I loved this take on M and his Gadgets/weapons from James Bond. I would think that pretty fun if my dads work was like that when I was small too. Starting the future young 🙂
