Jane had to remind herself while she was standing on top of this hill at such an ungodly hour to look out towards the sea.
For her, this was the only time of quiet in what she could only describe as a madhouse back home. Even though she loved her children and her husband there were just moments where she wanted to be on her own and surrounded by peace.
One night she had woken up early and was unable to get back to sleep. So, she had gone for a walk and soon realised sunrise was the perfect moment.

It’s wonderful that she finally found her “peaceful” place. A busy household can surely make you need one! Wonderful story, Angie!

I love the dawn — I can see why she would find peace there. Good story — mood well set.

Great write. Sunrise would be the most perfect moment of peace arguably.

We all I believe need such a time. I certainly do, but then I also need the mayhem.

There are definitely times where you need to be alone, although mine would definitely not be at dawn! Thanks for reading.
