Orlando nightclub shooting: 50 killed in terror attack – CNN.com

This has to be one of the worst things I have ever read. I would say this is somewhere on the level what happened in Paris because it was just innocent people having fun and doing their own thing. They are claiming that this could be some form of domestic terror, or maybe even something to do with Islamic state. I know they are not exactly tolerant of anybody gay/lesbian but I would say that this is more of a hate crime than a terrorist attack.

All I can do is mourn the loss of innocent life.

That and wonder, yet again, what it is going to take before the US give up the right to bear arms. Horrifically, mass shooting seems to be more common over there than anywhere else.

Fifty people were killed at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, in what marks the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

  1. It just makes me think how selfish some people can be, complaining about not being allowed their gun right, about gun legislation, and the sacrifice is always more lives. An easy sacrifice to make if the life’s someone else’s, until it’s your own life, or the lives of your loved ones in the balance.

  2. Sadly, yet another of our constitutional amendments has been misinterpreted for years. The second amendment reads: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” The NRA and other gun rights people have conveniently forgotten the part about the militia. Yet, I can’t help but think that if more people were allowed to open carry, there would be an end to black market guns and fewer shootings.
