International Women’s Day

This makes us look like women need to be celebrated. We probably do, but we are not exactly the victims. There is no need to make big song and dance about us.

People, in general, should be celebrated on a daily basis and not just when we are told to do it on some specific day.

I found that I think sums most women up.

Feel free to like it you agree 🙂

  1. I love the quote. I’m nobody’s damsel in distress. I don’t like to think of myself as a victim but I do see a lot of inequality between the sexes. I don’t look at International Women’s Day as portraying us as victims but encouraging us to rise up and support each other.

    1. It does encourage that… But, my point is, we should be supporting each other every single day instead of one day a year. It tends to come across like the one day of the year when people remember that women exist, and that we don’t have equal rights.
