PHOTO PROMPT © Sean Fallon
Jemima asked the question that had been plaguing her for years, “Mum, why do we keep our batteries in a jar instead of the packet?”
“Oh, it is just a habit I got into after I had been to university. You see, I used to keep my spare change in a jar, but I discovered that my roommate, Sally, was helping herself to my money.”
“What did you do?”
Cara smiled. “I went out and bought myself something that would give her quite a shock! Batteries are my reminder.”
The daughter was going to always wonder what that something was.

I very much liked your take on the prompt. Shocking thing for a university student to do. Question which one.
