Well, here we are at the start of another week, so it is time for that Monday journal. I actually can’t believe that it is another month already, where exactly is the time going? That is shocking stuff!

Anyway, my work in progress is marching along quite nicely, with the word count of just over 82,000 🙂 I am loving the way that it is going, and am so close that the ending that I am actually quite excited about it. I will have to set and plan it out to know exactly how many scenes are left within the project, but I am not really a planner when it comes to writing, but more of a fly by the seat of my pants person. I know the basic arc, but I generally let the characters tell the story for me! The people are all in position for the final battle, so I think it won’t be far away at all.

I actually hope to finish the first draft before I go on the cruise later this month, but that all depends on whether or not I get enough time to do it without stopping for preparation for boarding. All in all, probably not!

My writing target for January was actually hit, so I am quite proud that because I did not think it would be anywhere near complete for the end of the month.

There is not much else to tell you, because everything has been all about working on the cruise. The only thought I have, is that it is all going to be over very soon. Let’s just hope it’s worth all the effort 🙂
