100 word story: Memory

This is the second story:

People watched in horror as the girl had suddenly ended up on the tracks that day. There was no way that anybody could reach her in time to prevent her being killed. The only thing that people could really remember was the flashes of blue from her outfit.

When the train had hit her frail body, the material seem to get shredded and rained down on the watchers.

She had not even screamed at the moment of impact, a sound which all of the onlookers had been bracing themselves for. Did the girl in blue know what she was doing?

  1. Tense, exciting, and devastating story. I don think anyone knows what they are doing when they stand in front a moving train. I think they are either hopeless or not thinking straight. Depressed maybe?
