FFfAW: Escape

This week’s photo prompt is provided by pixabay.com.

I had parked the bike around the back of the house. Yes, I am aware that is probably not going to be the speediest of getaways, but I am sure it is going to get me where I needed to be.

All my things were around me that I was going to need. I took one last look around the kitchen in the place that I had once called home.

Not anymore.

The escape plan had started being built the second that he hit me. It didn’t matter what kind of excuse he used, I was going to run.

  1. A powerful story, Angie. She’s made the right decision in making her escape. Too many women stay in situations like these, making excuses for their partner’s violence. I hope her bike takes her far away from him. 🙂
