Can you actually believe that it is a Monday already? Time sure does fly when you are having a good time!
Time to bring you all up to speed with what is going on in my life.
First things first, my work in progress. I hope to get around to doing a character spotlight today, on Alice this time. She is my protagonist, well, probably joint protagonist with Jordan. Not actually sure how that works, but anyway, she is one of the good guys! I am really looking forward to giving you some insights into my character because I think that she is a very interesting person. Mind you, I am probably a bit biased! Not sure that I will get round to it today, but hopefully it will be done within the week.
The current word count for this is 57,838. I would say that this is going fairly well 🙂 the feedback that I have received so far is encouraging, so I am just ploughing on and hopefully will finish my first draft by the end of the year. That is going to be my goal, anyway.
In other writing news, I have decided to tackle the story a day challenge. This can be found here if you want to join in 🙂 I am actually really enjoying what I have done so far. The reason that I have not done today’s entry yet is because it hasn’t landed in my email box. I will of course keep looking for it. (This is one of the reasons that I might not get round to doing the spotlight on Alice today!)
I have also been joining in several weekly challenges, and have been enjoying what I have been doing! Of course, if my work in progress starts to call to me, then I will leave the other prompts in the dust, so to speak!
Here is the other reason that I might not get round to that spotlight… I am going to the doctors later to see if they have anything new that they would like to share with me! I am not really holding out much hope on that one, as it is a case of me normally telling them things that I have discovered. Then I just let them agree or disagree.
This week (Friday) I will be going to see Michael McIntyre. I am actually really looking forward to this one, it is going to be great 🙂 I will obviously be putting up a review of my experience in due course.
